I have seen Ian McKellan as Gandalf for the last time, and I am not okay.

I'm trying to decide whether or not I'm glad to be waiting for the DVD release. On one hand, I really, REALLY want to see it. On the other...I still get to be happy for a few more months.
ReplyDeleteBut how can you be happy when Tumblr keeps freaking out about the acorn? :/
DeleteOH MY GOSH BILLY BOYD'S SONG BASICALLY RIPPED MY HEART OUT AND LEFT IT ON THE ICE WITH THORIN. ♥
ReplyDeleteTHERE WAS AN ILLEGAL AMOUNT OF FEELS IN THAT SONG. SO MANY FEELINGS.
DeleteI'm kind of the opposite. I was expecting to be so depressed after I saw it yesterday, and instead I'm euphoric! I loved so much of it, and can't wait to see it again.
ReplyDeleteEuphoric, I can understand. "I am not okay" pretty much summarizes proud, crying, heartfelt, full-heart, nostalgic, hits home, can't believe it, this is awesome, I identify, impressed.....all of that. I sat in the theater for like 10 minutes of the credits just trying to process it all. Very, very good movie. :-) Boys and I are going to see it in 3D tomorrow. :-)
DeleteAha! Gotcha.
